Hey Reader,

Whew—June has been a month! I know I mentioned early on that things were looking a little slow on the income front… but wow, did it turn around.

My digital income really started to take off as June progressed, and I’m so grateful for that. But what’s funny is—just as the business momentum started picking up, life outside the screen got a whole lot busier too.

The day before we left for our family camping trip (yes, the one with all the bug spray and chaos 😅), we closed on two new duplexes! That means we now have three duplexes in total, and we’re slowly growing this side of our income the right way.

Of course, as soon as we got back from camp, it was time to roll up our sleeves.

We knew one unit was empty and needed to be cleaned and listed—but what we didn’t realize was just how bad the bathroom was. Yikes. We’re now in the middle of doing what we can around the apartment ourselves and calling in a pro to handle the bathroom properly.

I know landlords don’t always have the best reputation… but we’re not in this to collect a paycheck and let the place fall apart. We believe in reinvesting, taking care of people, and treating it like a real business. Yes, we want it to be profitable long-term—but not at the expense of our integrity (or someone else’s living space).

That said, if you’re dreaming of fast and easy passive income… real estate might not be it. At least not the way we’re doing it! But it is a powerful way to diversify income and build something local and stable.

Here are some things I’ve learned after a decade online:

👉 Just two years ago, my online business took a terrible turn.
👉 Today, my income is headed back up—and it’s been a great first half of the year!
👉 But I’d never want to rely 100% on just one income stream again.

So maybe that’s what I really want to say today:

Diversify.

Set up systems and look for long-term stability—not just short-term wins.

I love digital marketing. I’ll keep showing up online and teaching others how to build income streams the way I have. But I’m also planting seeds in other areas so that no matter what the future holds, we’ve got something solid to fall back on.

If you’re thinking about doing the same, reply and let me know—what kind of income stream are you dreaming about right now? Maybe we can brainstorm ways to bring it to life!

Hey Reader, We’re heading out today for one of my favorite yearly traditions—Family Camp! Every summer, my big ol’ family gathers for a few nights of outdoor fun, games, tents, and enough bug spray to scare off a bear. 😅 It’s loud, chaotic, and honestly a blast. But before I zip up the tent (okay, okay—we’re in cabins this time 😅) and unplug for a bit, I wanted to pop into your inbox with something that’s been on my mind—and it’s kind of a nostalgic throwback. Remember back in the early...

Hey Reader, Can I be honest for a second? May was amazing financially. I hit over $14K that month—a number I hadn’t seen in a while—and it felt so good to be back on that kind of upswing. But here we are in June, and things have leveled back out to “normal.” Is it because the market has shifted? Or because I’ve taken a little too much time off? Either way... it got to me. Isn’t it wild how closely our moods can get tied to our income? One month, you’re full of fire and vision—mapping out new...

Hey Reader, I had big plans for this spring. My husband and I were going to get ahead and get some things done. Maybe even start a little side project with the kids. You know, be super productive and all that. But you wanna know what actually happened? The kids just wanted to play. Like, every day. And to be completely honest… we kind of did too. I kept thinking, “Okay, we’ll buckle down tomorrow.” But tomorrow came, and it was just too beautiful outside to be inside working. And yesterday it...
