Hey Reader, I’ve been thinking about you and wanted to reach out. My last non-automatic email went out on September 16, and life changed immediately after. The very next day, on my husband’s birthday, we learned that his mom had an aggressive brain tumor and needed surgery within days. We weren’t prepared for any of it, and the past two months have been filled with long days, hard conversations, and a lot of leaning on the Lord. I’m grateful for the comfort of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and for the ability my husband and I have to work from home. That flexibility made it possible for us to show up for his family when they needed us most. We could never have managed this season without the path the Lord has guided my business toward. I want to encourage you. Freedom and stability are possible when you build something of your own. It takes effort and consistency, but the reward is a life with room to breathe and the ability to take care of the people you love. I don’t know what our life would look like today if I hadn’t stepped into entrepreneurship more than ten years ago. I just know it wouldn’t look like this, and I’m grateful every day.
I hope to see you reach your goals and experience the same sense of peace and flexibility. |

Hey Reader, I can’t believe September is already halfway over. I haven’t even listened to my favorite song of the season yet. Hold on… going to do that now. Cue “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” Okay, I’m back. I actually love this time of year. The crisp air, slower pace, and the feeling that you’re allowed to pause and breathe a little deeper. And this year, I’m especially thankful that I can slow down and enjoy it. For the better part of the last ten years, I’ve been able to choose my own...
Hey Reader, I promise I wasn’t trying to complain about missing the Labor Day sales. But looking back, I can see how it may have come across that way. What I meant to share, beyond the whole “missed the flooring deal” moment, was a little reminder of how quickly life moves, how easy it is to forget to pause, and how much good is sitting right in front of us if we just stop long enough to notice it. That moment led me to a question I’ve been turning over in my mind lately. So what does it mean...
Hey Reader, This past weekend was a blur, but in a good way. I was hopping online here and there, sending out updates, publishing about Labor Day deals, and doing my best to help others snag the savings I knew they’d love. But somewhere in the middle of it all, I forgot to shop the sales myself. My husband and I are currently in the middle of restoring one of our rental units. We’re putting in the effort to bring the space back to life and make it a great place for someone to call home. One...
