Hey Reader, I’ll be honest—I wasn’t a fan of artificial intelligence (AI) when it hit the online space hard in late 2022. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that the demise of my online business two years ago was set in motion by it. I watched my blog traffic take a nosedive, some types of client service opportunities dry up, and my personal income take a drastic hit. It was frustrating… and quite honestly, terrifying. But I'm grateful to say that our income never went to zero. My husband and I readjusted our slightly inflated lifestyle that had crept up on us and held on. And eventually, I realized that I had a choice to make: I could keep fighting the wave of AI that was sweeping over entrepreneurs and shaking up the online space, hoping it would fade away… or I could learn to ride it. (Spoiler: AI’s not going anywhere.) Earlier this year, I decided to invest in a digital marketing course that taught me how to work with AI instead of against it—and let me tell you, that was the mindset shift I needed. I started using AI more in my daily processes—not with the intention to replace me or do all the work, but to support me. And guess what happened? Income started picking up again—to the tune of over $14,000 in both May and June—and July has already started off strong!
The crazy changes that were set into motion in late 2022—when ChatGPT first came out—remind me a lot of what people must’ve felt when machines started replacing manual labor back in the day. At first, it looked like jobs were disappearing. But eventually, we learned to use those machines to make more money, not less. AI is really no different. It's a tool we need to learn to integrate into our work to make mundane tasks more efficient! When you treat it like a partner instead of a threat, things get a whole lot easier. Here are a few solid ways I’ve been using AI in my business lately: ✅ Brainstorming content ideas – No more staring at a blank screen wondering what to post. AI helps me generate ideas I can actually run with. ✅ Outlining blog posts or emails – I still write in my own voice, but having a loose outline saves me so much time. ✅ Creating quick social captions or video scripts – When I need to show up fast and still make sense? AI has my back. ✅ Organizing thoughts and streamlining tasks – It helps me think through problems, plan out freebies and digitals products, and even create frameworks for teaching. It really does help me think faster and clearer. If you’ve been nervous about using AI—afraid it’s “cheating” or that it’s replacing your industry—I get it. I really do. I’ve felt all of that. But don’t be afraid of the tool—just learn how to use it to your advantage. If you’re curious about how to start using AI in your business or income stream, hit reply—I’d love to chat about it. To working with the future,

Hey Reader, I promise I wasn’t trying to complain about missing the Labor Day sales. But looking back, I can see how it may have come across that way. What I meant to share, beyond the whole “missed the flooring deal” moment, was a little reminder of how quickly life moves, how easy it is to forget to pause, and how much good is sitting right in front of us if we just stop long enough to notice it. That moment led me to a question I’ve been turning over in my mind lately. So what does it mean...
Hey Reader, This past weekend was a blur, but in a good way. I was hopping online here and there, sending out updates, publishing about Labor Day deals, and doing my best to help others snag the savings I knew they’d love. But somewhere in the middle of it all, I forgot to shop the sales myself. My husband and I are currently in the middle of restoring one of our rental units. We’re putting in the effort to bring the space back to life and make it a great place for someone to call home. One...
Hey Reader, Something I’ve told myself over and over again is that owning a business is hard—but it’s worth it. Some months are incredible. Sales come in steadily, ideas flow, and everything clicks. Then the next month rolls around and suddenly, it feels like everything slows to a crawl. People are quieter. Engagement drops. Income dips. And it’s easy to start second guessing everything. I’ve been through that enough times to know now—it’s just part of the rhythm. This time of year...
