The hardest decision I had to make...

Hey Reader,

Recently, I had to make one of the hardest decisions in my business so far.

Last summer, blogging income had slowed down, and with the rise of AI content flooding the internet, it felt like my voice was getting drowned out. I didn’t want to keep pouring energy into something that just wasn’t producing results the way it used to.

So, I pivoted.

I put my blog on the back burner and started a Facebook group for online deal shopping. It quickly became one of the most fun projects I’d ever done. I was talking with women daily, laughing over crazy finds, helping families save money—it felt like the kind of thing I was meant to do.

But then, both Facebook and Amazon made changes that affected the visibility and profitability of the group. Growth stalled, earnings dropped, a even though my heart was still in it, I had to be honest with myself. I’m the main income earner for our family, and time spent on something that’s not generating income has to be re-evaluated.

So I recently stepped away. And even though it was sad… it ended up being the best decision I could’ve made for my business.

Sometimes stepping back from something good is the only way to make space for something better.

Now I want to share that with you—because maybe you're standing at a similar crossroads.

Maybe you’re working hard on something that used to work but doesn’t anymore. Maybe you’re scared to try a new direction, or you're stuck because you feel like there’s just no time to start over. Or perhaps you’re just waiting for the “perfect” time to begin something you’ve been thinking about for a while.

If that sounds like you, here’s what I want you to know:

  • You don’t need a perfect plan.
  • You just need a starting point.
  • And sometimes, a pivot can completely change the game.

That’s what digital marketing has been for me. I stepped back into blogging with a fresh perspective and new strategies, and just last week, I earned over $5,000. It’s been one of my best weeks in a long time. And that momentum started when I gave myself permission to shift.

Whether you’re interested in blogging, affiliate marketing, email lists, or building on social media, there is so much opportunity in the digital space right now. You don’t have to master everything. Just choose one stream and give it your focus.

And if you’re serious about learning how to do it right, I can point you toward the exact program that helped me get my strategy back on track and update my skills for today’s online world.

Don’t be afraid to make a bold decision if you know it’s the right one. Your time is valuable, your goals matter, and there is a way forward—you just have to take the first step.

Hit reply and let me know what that step looks like for you!

Hey Reader, I’m currently on vacation with my family—real, unplugged time, playing games, visiting the beach and pool, and doing my best to sleep in and dodge chaos. It's so neat because while I’ve been off living the mom life, my business has still been bringing in money. Like, thousands of dollars. And I’ve worked maybe an hour, total, in the last week. Sounds crazy, right? But it’s real. And honestly, this method is both super simple and scalable. Over the past two months, I’ve hit $14,000...

Hey Reader, I’ll be honest—I wasn’t a fan of artificial intelligence (AI) when it hit the online space hard in late 2022. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that the demise of my online business two years ago was set in motion by it. I watched my blog traffic take a nosedive, some types of client service opportunities dry up, and my personal income take a drastic hit. It was frustrating… and quite honestly, terrifying. But I'm grateful to say that our income never went to zero. My husband and I...

Hey Reader, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately—not just about how to make money now, but how to build the kind of future that gives us real freedom. For me, that future looks like financial independence. What does that mean, exactly? Well, for us anyway, it’s certainly not about living in a mansion or driving a luxury car. We just want to be able to choose how we spend our time. To have our basic needs met without relying on a 9-to-5 job, a boss, or the hope that Social Security will be...
