Hey Reader, We’re heading out today for one of my favorite yearly traditions—Family Camp! Every summer, my big ol’ family gathers for a few nights of outdoor fun, games, tents, and enough bug spray to scare off a bear. 😅 It’s loud, chaotic, and honestly a blast. But before I zip up the tent (okay, okay—we’re in cabins this time 😅) and unplug for a bit, I wanted to pop into your inbox with something that’s been on my mind—and it’s kind of a nostalgic throwback. Remember back in the early 2000s, when getting a friend’s new email address was a big deal? You’d sit down at the computer and type out all your summer happenings to keep in touch. I don’t know about you, but 15 minutes would turn into pages and pages of updates, inside jokes, and every thought that crossed my mind. These days, communication has shifted. We're stuck with quick one-word texts, cryptic Instagram captions, and even emoji-only replies. But when I think about email in the digital marketing space… it actually brings me back to those good ol’ days. Sitting down and sharing real thoughts to actually make a connection. Only now, I care about grammar (most days 😂) and I’ve officially retired the TTYL lingo. And it got me thinking… Growing an email list today goes beyond simply "building a business"—it actual involves creating real connections. It’s one of the few digital tools that still lets us really talk to our people—and also, yep, make money while doing it. Here are just a few ways your email list can start working for you: 👉 Promote something you love Sell your own product or service—or link to affiliate offers and earn when someone clicks and buys. 👉 Send traffic to your blog or website Each visit can earn ad income, drive sales, or build deeper trust. 👉 Get sponsorships Once your list grows, brands will pay you to feature their content. 👉 Launch a digital product Use your list to validate an idea, build buzz, and make sales on launch day. Digital marketing is far from dead. In fact, with online shopping only growing, email remains one of the most profitable and personal tools out there. So before I trade in my WiFi for bug spray, here’s your challenge: What topic could you type pages and pages about? What would you love to share with others—and maybe even earn from? Hit reply and tell me all about it! I’d love to help you brainstorm how we could build a simple, powerful, profitable email list around that interest of yours. Talk soon (and TTYL, I guess 😉), P.S. Email marketing is a big part of what allows me to have $10,000+ months these days. I share this course with you because it includes all the pieces of that puzzle in one place. If you’re ready to take advantage of the digital space that’s all around us, I highly recommend checking it out.

Hey Reader, I can’t believe September is already halfway over. I haven’t even listened to my favorite song of the season yet. Hold on… going to do that now. Cue “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” Okay, I’m back. I actually love this time of year. The crisp air, slower pace, and the feeling that you’re allowed to pause and breathe a little deeper. And this year, I’m especially thankful that I can slow down and enjoy it. For the better part of the last ten years, I’ve been able to choose my own...
Hey Reader, I promise I wasn’t trying to complain about missing the Labor Day sales. But looking back, I can see how it may have come across that way. What I meant to share, beyond the whole “missed the flooring deal” moment, was a little reminder of how quickly life moves, how easy it is to forget to pause, and how much good is sitting right in front of us if we just stop long enough to notice it. That moment led me to a question I’ve been turning over in my mind lately. So what does it mean...
Hey Reader, This past weekend was a blur, but in a good way. I was hopping online here and there, sending out updates, publishing about Labor Day deals, and doing my best to help others snag the savings I knew they’d love. But somewhere in the middle of it all, I forgot to shop the sales myself. My husband and I are currently in the middle of restoring one of our rental units. We’re putting in the effort to bring the space back to life and make it a great place for someone to call home. One...
