Hey Reader, I wanted to follow up after my last email and share something more personal. In January, my husband’s mom went to heaven. Losing her shook our lives in ways we never could have prepared for. At the same time, we are so confident that she is with Jesus and no longer in pain that gratitude continues to rise up even in the middle of grief. This season stretched longer than I expected. When I stepped away from a big portion of my business in September, I had no idea how much time we would need as a family. The quiet season was necessary, and it gave me space to reflect on money more holistically, but more importantly, on what truly matters, which is walking closely with the Lord and faithfully stewarding what we already have. When you first joined my list, we talked a lot about making more money. That will always be part of the conversation because increasing income creates options. This last year, though, taught me that life is about more than earning more. We can be surprisingly comfortable when we become good stewards of what we already have. I know that looks different for everyone, but as an example, I spent extra time this last year researching and applying tax strategies that allowed us to keep more of the money we had already earned. Personal finance is so much bigger than income. Budgeting to reduce lifestyle inflation, building savings, investing, and tithing to our local church all work together to create stability. This season reminded me that there are many paths to stability. There is no single right answer. You just have to find what fits your family and your goals. So I want to ask you honestly... Are you still here because you want to get your finances in order? Whether that means earning more, keeping more, or finally building a plan that gives you peace and allows you to give back to the Lord, I would love to know where you stand. I’m grateful you’re here. Re: Something happened since my last email Thu 5:12pm Nov 20, 2025 I’ve been thinking about you and wanted to reach out. My last non-automatic email went out on September 16, and life changed immediately after. The very next day, on my husband’s birthday, we learned that his mom had an aggressive brain tumor and needed surgery within days. We weren’t prepared for any of it, and the past two months have been filled with long days, hard conversations, and a lot of leaning on the Lord. I’m grateful for the comfort of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and for the ability my husband and I have to work from home. That flexibility made it possible for us to show up for his family when they needed us most. We could never have managed this season without the path the Lord has guided my business toward. I want to encourage you. Freedom and stability are possible when you build something of your own. It takes effort and consistency, but the reward is a life with room to breathe and the ability to take care of the people you love. I don’t know what our life would look like today if I hadn’t stepped into entrepreneurship more than ten years ago. I just know it wouldn’t look like this, and I’m grateful every day.
I hope to see you reach your goals and experience the same sense of peace and flexibility. |

Hey Reader, It's clear to me that so many are still searching for practical ways to earn more money. And it has nothing to do with wanting to get rich overnight, but because the math of everyday life has simply gotten harder. Groceries, housing, and raising a family costs more. Many people are doing everything right and still feel like they are constantly trying to keep up. Over the past ten years I have spent a lot of time studying how ordinary people create extra income from home. Some...
Hey Reader, I have spent the last week reading through your replies, and I just want to say thank you. The responses were thoughtful, honest, and incredibly encouraging. So many of you shared that you are still looking for ways to earn more, manage what you have better, and build something steadier for your families. It helped me see clearly that the mission I started years ago still matters. Instead of just chasing bigger numbers, you want stability, margin, options, and ultimately a plan...
