My May numbers are in! 🤯

Hey Reader,

It’s been so refreshing to talk more about online income lately. Every time I get a message from someone who’s taken a step—any step—toward starting their own income project, I can’t help but cheer them on.

And as promised, I want to share a little celebration of my own with you.

I just finished tallying up my income for May… and it came to $14,409. 🤯

That’s a number I haven’t seen within a month for quite some time, and let me tell you—I sat with it for a minute, grateful, and honestly a little in shock.

I’m not saying digital marketing is the only way to make a living. But for my family, it’s been such a gift. It's flexible, creative, rewarding, and all the things. My husband and I both get to work from home. We're here for our kids, every day. And for us, that kind of freedom is priceless.

That said... as soon as the sun starts shining and the weather warms up, I always feel that itch to do something a little more hands-on. Maybe even outdoors.

I half-joked with my husband about setting up some beehives this year. (He shut that down real fast LOL.) But the idea’s still buzzing in the back of my mind. 🐝

In the meantime, I've agreed to work on something a little less scary.

My 10-year-old son—who claims he’s “so bored” every 20 minutes—perked right up when I mentioned the idea of starting his own little side job. Since then he’s been non-stop asking when we’re going to get started.

So I think it’s happening. We’ve been researching "vermiculture" together—raising red wiggler worms to turn veggie scraps into nutrient-rich compost. (It sounds weird, I know. But red wigglers and worm castings are gold for gardeners.)

Honestly, I just love that he’s excited about starting something of his own and learning how to earn a little money from it. And if you’re curious too, I’ve actually updated an old guide from a few years ago, with everything you’d need to know to start your own worm farm.

We’ll be setting up our first worm bin this month, and I’ll be sharing a bit about the journey as we go—if you want to follow along, let me know!

Don't worry, I'll still keep the main focus on the bigger picture, which is to find the perfect way for you to achieve career and financial freedom.

But summer is just about here, and who knows where this fun little side hustle can lead. Some people have turned worm farming into a full-blown commercial venture!

I'm excited to see where it can go,

Trinity Owen

Hey Reader, I’ve been thinking about you and wanted to reach out. My last non-automatic email went out on September 16, and life changed immediately after. The very next day, on my husband’s birthday, we learned that his mom had an aggressive brain tumor and needed surgery within days. We weren’t prepared for any of it, and the past two months have been filled with long days, hard conversations, and a lot of leaning on the Lord. I’m grateful for the comfort of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,...

Hey Reader, I can’t believe September is already halfway over. I haven’t even listened to my favorite song of the season yet. Hold on… going to do that now. Cue “Wake Me Up When September Ends.” Okay, I’m back. I actually love this time of year. The crisp air, slower pace, and the feeling that you’re allowed to pause and breathe a little deeper. And this year, I’m especially thankful that I can slow down and enjoy it. For the better part of the last ten years, I’ve been able to choose my own...

Hey Reader, I promise I wasn’t trying to complain about missing the Labor Day sales. But looking back, I can see how it may have come across that way. What I meant to share, beyond the whole “missed the flooring deal” moment, was a little reminder of how quickly life moves, how easy it is to forget to pause, and how much good is sitting right in front of us if we just stop long enough to notice it. That moment led me to a question I’ve been turning over in my mind lately. So what does it mean...
